Objective of the workshop
The purpose of the workshop is to provide an overview on how Islamic microfinance can be introduced to Africa taking Ethiopia as a case study. Participants are also expected to forward comments, ideas and suggestions on the presentation. It is expected to be a fruitful Platform were participants can acquaint more knowledge and expertise on Islamic microfinance.
Prof. Badr EL Din A. Ibrahim is an Economic expert at the Ministry of Finance in Muscat, and he previously also worked as the president of the Microfinance Unit at ‘the Central Bank of Sudan’.
